I do not think that is a 24 GP, none made until 79. All 24 GPs had glass stringers too. Probably a 23 GP.
"Joint Venture" 1978 midcabin 28', twin 2017 Vortec roller cam "bullet proof" 383/6.3L full roller 350hp engines - You name it, I've either replaced it, restored it, rebuilt it, repainted it or repaired it. That's my job now that I'm retired.

That is a 23' but referred to as a 2400 series boat.

I see that now. Just going by what he had posted in the add.

We have a 23' same year. We've heard them referred to as 24' more times than I can count since some use the Gunwale (length) of 24'10 and not Center-line length of 23'2. Interesting, either the owner re-powered (transom redone) with twin Volvo's or Ken did one of his special orders and built it this way, not factory if I recall.

Interesting, I know I've seen them, but don't see them mentioned or that option anywhere in the 1977 brochure that we had nor the one on this forum? The ones I've seen didn't leave much room in the cockpit..

What's your current count nova? Do they multiply when you park them together?

In order of length. 8, 8, 8, 10, 21, 23, 24. One of the 8' and the 10 is my dad's that I store for him. 24 and the 10 are in the shop and the others are out back hiding out of sight in the woods.

I have a spare 5.7 with a Bravo 2 drive that I have been thinking lately about putting that in the 23 and turning it into a center console boat.

Sounds like a nice quick weekend project... ha. That 23 in center console form would be perfect for the rhodan gps trolling motors I've been staring at recently.

That's not nearly as bad as I was expecting. I think you need another 8, mine is lonely and needs friends around.

Mine was advertised as a 24' but the reality it's a 23'. I am glad it is!
