    I've often thought of doing just that! That, and fishing with one of those malleable grapnel anchors. If the tines got stuck, they'll bend straight enough to release.

      Yes, my kids do it at every marina that we stop at. We haven't found anything that cool yet. Mostly screws and nails. We use parachute cord and a magnet we found at Ace Hardware in Friday Harbor.
