Around East Thurlow Island. Seen this large pod of Porpoises in the distance, they heard or seen us, then changed direction and came right over to us. Got some great video and photo's.

Good company! Like the big flag.
The cruise liner QE2 moves only six inches for each gallon of diesel fuel that it burns.

1982 28' Long Cabin "Molly Brown" sweating through a long hot summer. Massive California forest fires fill our sky with smoke. SUP paddlers and kayakers transit the harbor with abandon, thinking they have the right of way over all boats.

Carl, a lot of us are vacationing vicariously through you, please keep the pictures coming if you get service!
Love the old fishing boats in those remote marinas.

That's funny about the flag, (yes it's big and we're proud of it) but it's the first time we've been accosted about a flag. We were at the fuel dock in Nanaimo because we didn't have the Canadian flag up yet. We just landed and had to check into customs first, but some guy proceeded to tell me what happened in the 1500's or something to visiting boaters to foreign lands who weren't flying the host country flag... I gave him a big ol' American hug... but yes, we did get our Canadian flag up.

You're funny, you could post some awesome photo's also.. That old fishing boat is the owners of this marina and uses it to make runs to Campbell river for supplies. Very unique boat for sure.

My God, that's a two-foot prawn! Or is it simply a matter of perspective . . . I prefer to believe it's the former.
