    You are absolutely correct, I didn't hold out hope for more than a season or two on this motor so that's the way it goes I guess. I will get in touch with you noluck as soon as I get back home probably Friday. Thanks

    So.... I finally got my main engine running well enough for now. Too bad I broke a blade off of my shiny Suzuki kicker motor...
    I stayed up all night to see where the sun went. Then it dawned on me....

    Pulled the engine out a couple of weeks ago and it is currently being rebuilt. Decided to stick with the 305. She will have 305 vortec heads, roller rockers and throttle body efi. Thanks to jjc23, I also have a VP290 Duoprop drive sitting here to go through and install as well. I should probably post some pictures too.... :-)
