Doesn’t have to be 12” if it looks the same.

Thanks, you end up adding to the fleet from that trip or was the guy asking too much?

If you stay with 12" for an additional seat your wedges will only be larger in size as well as difficult to buy anyplace. My existing base was also 12" and I used a piece of 12" diameter alluminum as the "adapter" to my 9" Todd bases. Just bolted the adapter down to existing bolt holes and viola I was set to go! After I cover the deck with nonskid it's hardly noticeable.

I like that adapter idea if I can’t find another base-difficult to buy is no joke, it’ll be eBay used if I can find them unless nova pulls a rabbit out of a hat. I’m working on an idea to make a custom shim by pouring epoxy into an “in place” mold that would be pretty cheap and effective if I can find the right product. If so then the base size won’t be a big deal.

Black Friday close out deal, got 2 garelick helm seats from brown Santa today:

Just went out and looked. Only found one and it appears to be a 9".

Thanks for looking, 12” appears to be pretty oddball. No rush so I’ll keep looking, quite a few very similar smooth transition style 10” on eBay.

Took the base off to clean it up... not looking for a match any longer. Some of the webbing of the base casting ended up being cracked so my choice was made for me.
