Finally got her home

I was finally able to get into the area the boat was in and retrieve her yesterday. Brakes were locked up on the trailer, but they submitted to my will after a generous round of beating. Trailer got her home, but is junk.
I did some minor prep work and she fired up! Runs smoothly even after sitting for 6 years, I was amazed!
Interior is near perfect and it looks like the gelcoat is still nice and shiny under the mung protective coating. Let the pressure washing begin!

How the day finished out. Please pardon the mess inside, the boat came with tons of stuff! Lots of cleaning to do but currently she runs great and shifts fine. All systems seem to work as designed. Stove is electric/alcohol, fridge is electric. Kicker has Panther electric steering, power tilt and start. No cabin heat (bummer). The saga continues!

Given the side windows, I would say it is a ‘79 or newer 2200 Cutty. The HIN should tell the story…

I disagree on 79 or newer. 79’s had a different venting to the engine compartment. This is likely a 1978 2280 overnighter.
