  • Petit tube in the way of trim tab mounting

Last night I was working on all the mounting holes on the transom of my 19.5 Glasply. My problem is the petit tube for my speedometer is right in the way. See attached pic. Have any of you had this issue ? If so where did you move yours? I fear if I go further outboard to the right that the tube will be to high when up on a plane and not read? Thanks in advance for your thoughts and suggestions!

    Regards,

    Will

Move the speedo to the right at the flat portion. My Transducer is mounted there.

Get rid of it. If you have a modern chart plotter/fish finder then it will give you GPS speed.

Or use a Speed app on your phone if you don't have that fancy stuff.
