I've been looking for a boat that would be a good candidate for an outboard conversion for the motor I have sitting in my garage. Motor is a 2006 Yamaha F250. Bought this boat last year with a BMW 220 hp inline 6 and BMW outdrive. I got the motor fired up and interior cleaned up in time for the rendezvous. Now that winter is here it's time to get started. Pulled the motor, drive, 100 gallon fuel tank and dash this last weekend. Fuel tank is coming out for cleaning and inspecting.

Nova,
look like we have the same boat, my is 1986.
when you say fiberglassing, are you only plugging the outdrive hole or you are adding more glass to the transom? I ask because I am in the same process and wondering what need to be done to my as well. thanks
